Some people are happy to be approached by others for a chat or would prefer this because they find it hard to start a conversation.  Other people like to start a conversation themselves once they feel able to, rather than be approached by someone else.  And there are moments when we all need some space and to avoid interruption from others. The fact is, everyone can also experience all of these feelings in one day too. So we created a different kind of t-shirt to help. It has three traffic-light coloured boxes on it: green if you're happy to chat; amber for when you'd prefer to approach others for a talk (rather than them approach you), and red for when you'd prefer not to chat at that moment. Use your favourite pin badge or a sticker to mark the box that's right for you and change it throughout the day depending on how you're doing. It's a clear sign of when it's time to talk and when a different approach would suit you better. Like all our tees, it's on organic cotton, made using renewable energy, is vegan-friendly and comes plastic-free. We'll also donate 10% of our Kind Penguins profit from sales of the tee to a mental health charity. We think that makes it a sustainable choice, hope it helps in stressful days, and encourages positive conversations about mental health too.
